We are the Academic Hospital – one of Sweden's leading university hospitals. As a regional hospital and provider of highly specialized care, we offer healthcare to two million people in Central Sweden. There is always something happening here – a new life is born, a grandmother is operated on, a colleague is celebrated as a hero. With us, you will experience both tough challenges and fantastic events, in a strong community with colleagues. See parts of our reality in our photo exhibition; akademiskafotoutstallning.se (http://akademiskafotoutstallning.se). Welcome with your application!
Our Operations
The Regional Cancer Center (RCC) works for better and more equitable cancer care according to the goals of the National Cancer Strategy (SOU2009:12). The work is also conducted at the national level in close collaboration with the other five RCC offices in Sweden. RCC Central Sweden has a healthcare regional assignment within the Healthcare Region Central Sweden (https://www.xn--sjukvrdsregionmellan-0zb.se/ (https://www.xn--sjukvrdsregionmellan-0zb.se/)) and is organizationally under the Academic Hospital with Region Uppsala as the host region. RCC works, among other things, with the development of care programs, the development and management of quality registers, support for research and projects in the cancer field at both national and healthcare regional levels, as well as care process development in the healthcare region.
We are now looking for a communicator who, together with us at the Regional Cancer Center Central Sweden, wants to continue contributing to better and more equitable cancer care - not only in our healthcare region but throughout Sweden! As a communicator with us, you will have a varied role with a lot of responsibility and the opportunity to influence your workday.

As a communicator at RCC Central Sweden, you will be responsible for communication within our catchment area, Healthcare Region Central Sweden (https://www.xn--sjukvrdsregionmellan-0zb.se/ (https://www.xn--sjukvrdsregionmellan-0zb.se/)), and for communication in the areas for which RCC Central Sweden has national responsibility – for example, the prostate cancer area and the lung cancer area.
Your Tasks Will Include:
- editor for the website cancercentrum.se (http://cancercentrum.se)
- writing newsletters, articles, and press releases

Your Qualifications
As a person, you are structured and have a good ability to coordinate various projects simultaneously. As a communicator with us, you will have many different points of contact, and we therefore see that you enjoy being outgoing and have good social skills. To succeed in the role, you are self-driven and proactive. When needed, you are confident in acting advisory within your area of expertise.
Requirements
